I have been in the wholesale/retail horticultural trade for over 25 years as a business owner, importer, and new product developer. I have been importing plants and hard goods from Asia since 2001 and have a good understanding of all functions involved in the import and sales cycle.
The nature of my current business is to represent international growers and manufactures into the US horticultural marketplace. My goal is to establish a working relationship with you and a small number of key suppliers of horticultural commodities and specialty plants. I offer my services to your company on a commission basis, selling direct to the largest and most reputable growers in the US and Canada. I will sell your product, arrange payment, shipping, customs clearing and after the sale service.
My connections and experience in the U. S. Will connect you with the largest growers, garden center chains and mass marketers in these markets. I attend all of the major trade shows and will open markets for you that would otherwise be prohibitive on an individual company basis. We will work with you to sell container load quantities direct and also to facilitate mixed full container loads to our customers. When necessary I do have warehouse facilities, but prefer to have product go directly to my customers.
My services are charged to you on a percentage basis of between 15-25 %. Of course this price is either already built into your price or we will adjust your prices to make this proposal work well for both of us.
